The program features reflections of people who were all over the country and the world on that

day. They share their memories about how they heard the news, their reactions, and their favorite John Lennon songs.

THE DAY JOHN LENNON DIED was produced by Paul Ingles of Cedar Creek Studios in Placitas, New Mexico in association with public radio station KUNM at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Ingles has taught rock 'n' roll history and written a series of reference books for use by rock radio stations and fans.
