Many simply describe the early (pre-Buckingham Nicks joining) era as a Blues Band era.  That holds up for the first two years under the band's original founding guitarist Peter Green, but starting with the 1970 album "Kiln House," more sentimental and melodic songs (including instrumentals) consistently dot the albums, like "Earl Gray," "Future Games," "Sentimental Lady," and "Caught in the Rain," plus Christine McVie's soulful and haunting vocal songs like "The Way I Feel" and "Why." ...
